Rich Cahalan

Based in Los Angeles, Rich Cahalan is an experienced business lawyer and consultant. For over 40 years, Rich has represented a wide variety of business enterprises, family offices and individuals in their business transactions and endeavors.

Rich began his legal career practicing corporate law (representing enterprises ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies) at Jones Day and later co-founded a boutique law firm where he focused more on representing start-up ventures and individuals. For several years, as a business executive, he also successfully managed some closely–held start-up companies through key growth stages. For example, Rich served as President & COO of Trillium Digital Systems and engineered its acquisition by Intel Corporation, where he served as General Manager of Intel's Networking Software Division until 2002. Rich believes that his executive management experience adds unique perspective to his counsel.

Rich enjoys a reputation for integrity, responsiveness and quality service. He holds a BA degree in Economics from Stanford University, an MBA degree from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a JD degree from UCLA's School of Law. Rich is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is also a California–licensed real estate broker (License #01378600).
